Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Music has the ability to help us regulate our body systems. Music benefits us physically by slowing down our heart rate, calming our central nervous system, as well as improving our blood flow and energy. One technique to add to listening to music is doing a Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercise. As you listen to music, you one by one tighten and release tension from every large muscle group. I have created this special Relaxation exercise for you. I did it in Garage Band, with my voice, and the background is one of my very favorite songs by Enya. Take a break!
